Dining Around the Globe: A German Experience at Gordon Biersch

Winter time in Seattle gives us Seattleites the infamous travel bug. We are a foodie city that loves to keep warm this time of year with amazing wine, comforting nosh and craft cocktails. Although taking a trip to an exotic destination sounds lovely, we can’t all be jet-setters.

Problem solved! Dine around the globe, all under one roof at Pacific Place’s favorite foodie hang outs. Time to get your imaginary passport out and get your first stamp.

A frothy GB IPA

When you think of visiting Germany, what comes to mind? German style lagers? Yes, beer and Germany tend to be synonymous! Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurant serves up five flagship lagers year round to their beer fans. And to top it off, Gordon Biersch has just launched their IPA!  This copper colored beer, which is highly hopped, produces a more bitter flavor than other beers.  The alcohol content is also slightly higher than their flagship lagers, such as the Czech Pilsner or the Marzen.  Sehr lecker!

Bring an appetite because the menu features classic American dishes that pair perfectly with your brew of choice.  For those with a smaller appetite, Gordon Biersch offers “On the lighter side.” Happy hour is always the perfect time to catch up with friends. Many of Gordon Biersch’s hand crafted cocktails are re-defined during the happiest hours of the day.

For upcoming events and happenings stay connected with Gordon Biersch on facebook and twitter. And stay tuned for our next adventure around the globe of cuisine at Pacific Place.
