Go “Salmon Fishing in the Yemen”

Naturally, fish need water to live and by definition, deserts aren’t well known for having lots of water. This proposes quite the challenge. “Salmon Fishing in the Yemen,” a romantic dramedy playing at AMC Pacific Place 11, explores how teamwork, a little positivity, and a lot of faith can accomplish what many would consider the impossible.

We’re heading to see it for the powerhouse cast alone! With Ewan McGregor, Emily Blunt and Academy Award-nominee, Kristin Scott Thomas, the film has to be strong. Still need another great reason to see it? The film has a refreshing combination of deep drama and lighthearted humor, which really elevates it above the typical story of one man overcoming long odds. “Salmon Fishing in the Yemen” is an especially enjoyable and uplifting movie-going experience you will not want to miss.
