Buon Appetito in October at Il Fornaio!

From October 1st through October 14th, Il Fornaio will take your taste buds on a journey to the famous Toscana (Tuscany) region of Italy for its latest installment in the year-long Festa Regionale. We can’t wait to revel in the delicious foods and full-bodied wines of Italy’s most famous region. The two week long event features special chef partner Vincente Mendoza as he prepares some of his favorite authentic Tuscan dishes. Home to the beautiful city of Florence as well as the renowned rolling country side, Tuscany is famous around the world for its cuisine as well as its wine and judging by the menu, its fame is well earned.

With dishes like Mezzelune Cacio e Pere (Half-moon ravioli filled with grilled pears, mozzarella and Parmigiano), and Risotto al Chianti (Beef tenderloin and porcini mushroom risotto with shallots, pecorino Toscano and Chianti Classico) who could resist?
