Decadent, Delicious, Divine Desserts this Valentine’s Day

Pink Champagne

Valentine’s Day may be the #1 reason to celebrate your loved one, but we say it’s also the #1 excuse to indulge in the sweetest luxuries offered at Pacific Place. We aren’t talking about Coach bags or diamond pendants from Tiffany & Co., we are referring to simple sweet treats. Here is your decadent guide to our favorite desserts found at Pacific Place.

Gordon Biersch

Be the woman who takes charge in the relationship and treat your gent to our favorite gentlemen’s hangout, Gordon Biersch. After a filling, manly dinner –or maybe you want to just skip right to dessert –place your order for our favorite dessert and wine pairing.

Warm right up to your significant other when you order the Warm Apple Bread Pudding – with pecans, vanilla ice cream, and whiskey sauce.

Pair this treat with a classic Bella Sera Moscato from Italy, to leave a sweet finish. A Brut Champagne would be a more crisp pairing alternative if bubbly is your choice, celebratory beverage.

Mexico Cantina y Cocina

You can’t get more traditional than Mexican Flan. Mexico Cantina y Cocina prepares this classic dessert with the addition of a caramel candy cage dome to accent this lovely confection.

The quintessential pairing to Mexico’s Flan, is of course the El Matador Margarita, hand-shaken and served tableside.

Thai Ginger

This is where dessert can get tricky because you have to decide between the Black Sticky Rice Pudding, or four flavors of Thai Ice Cream. Since the likelihood of you choosing just one dessert is slim, go with both options and share. By far, our favorite ice cream flavor is coconut. Our favorite pairing is the Thai Ice Cream with a hot coffee or tea.

Il Fornaio

When it comes to Italian desserts, they all sound and look amazing. If we HAVE to choose one, we say choose the Cannoli Siciliana. This special Cannoli is filled with fresh ricotta, lemoncello (an Italian favorite), candied orange, and bittersweet chocolate chips.

A Cannoli pairing must be chosen quite carefully because you don’t want to mask the rich flavors of your favorite dessert. A subtle red wine, preferably a Chianti, is our choice for washing down the incredible flavors of this Italian treat.

Now is the time to make your reservations and plan for a night spent indulging in our favorite desserts found at Pacific Place. Happy Valentine’s Day lovers!
