Gordon Biersch: Our Hub For Beer and Bites

After working hard on our New Year’s resolution to get in better shape, we think it’s time to reward ourselves.

Weeks of eating tons of steamed vegetables and spending countless hours on a treadmill, almost made us forget about one of the parts of life we cherish: beer and finger foods!

Luckily, our friends at Gordon Biersch have some delicious appetizers and plenty of unique beers to keep our mind off the gym for a little while.

Here are a couple treats that stuck out to us:

First up, the Kobe sliders are a delicious American classic that we can’t get enough of. Made with 100% Kobe beef and served with a dill pickle and mustard sauce, these mini burgers are sure to make you forget about that “Tofurkey” sandwich we made ourselves eat for lunch.

If the Kobe sliders aren’t your style, then try the famous garlic fries. They’re piled high with garlic and Parmesan cheese. What’s not to love?

Lastly, we recommend you order up some Gordon Biersch housemade chips. These homemade potato chips are covered in blue cheese crumbles, scallions, and, wait for it…BACON! If these don’t offer us a break from our daily salad regimen, then we don’t know what will.

We can’t forget that with all truly epic finger foods comes an equally epic beer!

Gordon Biersch has all kinds of different brews to help us wash down our mouth-watering appetizers. Our favorite is a tie between the Golden Export and the Marzen brew. The Golden Export is a refreshing, thirst quenching brew with a light hoppiness and clean finish. It’s the perfect pairing for all our finger food delights.

The Marzen brew is an auburn colored brew with a sweeter finish. It’s plenty smooth, and is Gordon Biersch’s most popular brew for a good reason!
